Agaricon is a table lamp with a sensor dimmer. The aluminium ring on the edge of the lid acts as an interface with the user. When gently pressed with the fingers or suddenly released, the light is gradually modulated to activate the electronic sensorial dimmer. This allows the lamp to be turned on and off while also regulating its brightness, all by touching the rim.
The casing is light, ribbed and semi-transparent, coloured in a process which creates special effects not otherwise obtainable with ordinary paint or silk-screening.
